The ah-ha moment came when the Tarabini's prioritized putting their money into buying the best possible grapes and not a destination tasting room. They soon realized that other Citizen Winemakers at Crushpad of San Francisco were in the same winemaking virtual place in time and in business for the long haul to craft small lots of fine wine in the city of San Francisco as a family-run winery. Sixteen brands is better than one in terms of marketing the concept of an alliance of San Francisco wineries.
