January 15, 2010

Kindred Wines chosen to pour at Pinot Days-SoCal

SFWA Member, Kindred Wines will pour its 2006 & 2007 bottlings of their Amber Ridge Pinot Noir in the San Francisco Wine Association booth at the  "Grand Tasting" at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

The Grand Tasting will begin with a 2-hour Trade Only Tasting, followed by the Public Tasting which in open from 1-5PM on Sunday, January 17th.

Kindred will be one of the over 75 phenomenal pinot noir producers at the Grand Tasting that will be offering festival attendees the chance to sample up to 200 pinots from every important domestic pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills. Come to Barker Hangar to taste the highly acclaimed 2007 vintage, and talk with the gifted winemakers who created these beautiful wines. Local specialty food purveyors will serve delectables that pair well with pinot.

Pinot Days celebrates pinot noir in its many styles, ranging from modern to earthy to elegant. Unlike wine events that appeal to a narrow customer base featuring wines more alike than different, Pinot Days brings together pinot producers representing every California appellation, style and price point, as well as a few from Oregon and Burgundy.

Pinot Days currently hosts events in San Francisco, Chicago and now in the Los Angeles area.
