SFWA partners to promote the 1st annual "Pinot Days Southern California"

Pinot Days celebrates pinot noir in its many styles, ranging from modern to earthy to elegant. Unlike wine events that appeal to a narrow customer base featuring wines more alike than different, Pinot Days brings together pinot producers representing every California appellation, style and price point, as well as a few from Oregon and Burgundy.

The San Francisco Wine Association will have a booth at Sunday's "Grand Tasting" at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica which will showcase over 75 phenomenal pinot noir producers, including SFWA member, "Kindred Wines".

Event attendees will be able to sample up to 200 pinots from every important domestic pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills. Come to Barker Hangar to taste the highly acclaimed 2007 vintage, and talk with the gifted winemakers who created these beautiful wines. Local specialty food purveyors will serve delectables that pair well with pinot.
